    innovate LC-1 questions

this maybe a naive question -- but i have no clue about the LC-1 system -- on the LC-1 do i need to install the digital read out and get the readings as i ride ? or can i take it out for a short run with the full range on the rpm's and come home and plug it into my laptop to get the readings ? -- I'm just trying to get a understanding of the system before i go buy -- i still need to buy a LC-1 and a j-pipe with a bung hole on it -- anyone have one or the other laying around ? -- concerning the j-pipe i understand speed freaks will weld my existing pipe -- how do i get in contact with them ?

U should get a guage to see what AFR you r running at what rpm increments. The data log dosen't sense rpms, just a time log. If u are lean in any areas u will need to adjust for the lean area rpms (if u have a rude FC).

If u have a RRFPR u can only adjust WOT AFR's.

bigdaddyrxp might still have a j-pipe with bung forsale... you can also buy a exhaust space with bung in the online store witch will make it alot easyer to remove the charger aswell.

The LC-1 doesnt have data logging if im correct..You will have to mount the gauge and monitor the readings as you ride..Then you will need to go back, make your adjustments, go back out and monitor your readings again...If your looking for a data logging system i would go with the LM-2..YOu can data log with that system..

Correct but you need to ride with it plunged into the laptop to data-log or daisy-chain with a auxbox.

The LC-1 is also a key component of Innovate Motorsports' Modular Tuning System (MTS). Using the LC-1's serial ports you can daisy-chain other Innovate devices such as the XD-16, AuxBox (LMA-3), DL-32, TC-4, and SSI-4.

If you want on-board data logging go with the LM-2. You data log then download and review with logworks.
