8300, The ideal rpm should be around 8100, so depending on how hot and humid it gets in your part of the world you should be pretty close come summer time.

your stock limiter is 8300 i think so i dont know how you are seeing 8300 usually it starts pulling timing so you wont see the limiter. was your ecu programmed? you should gain 100 rpm or so in the cold air/water and lose 100 or so when its hot air/water. if you are running that in that in the summer you neep some more pitch in the prop

You should be fine now, just wait till summer, it will step down all by itself.

well yesterday was really cold here in Miami around 60-65 degrees, i would love to see 8200 rpm, i will install a rear exit exhaust and a x water box today and in a few days a 2 wedge, maybe i will see 8200.

also i had a oil leak and my oil is basically full on the dip stick, ones i lower it to a little less then the middle i should see a little more rpms.

    I'll let you know

Wow, ive never seen more than 7950 with my 07 rxt. I also have riva air and intake grate. Guess I got a dud. Allways been that way. Supercharger was done too. Hopefully my 2010 x 260 will be better.
