07 rxt rpm limit?
Hi guys i just install a 3riva intake and my rpms jump from 7950 to 8180, what is rpm limit on a 07 rxt 8200?

is not 8100 because i am doing 8180 with just 3riva air intake.

8300, The ideal rpm should be around 8100, so depending on how hot and humid it gets in your part of the world you should be pretty close come summer time.

i am in Miami, is it safe to to run my ski at 8200 to 8300 rpm or should i really step it down to 8100.

You should be fine now, just wait till summer, it will step down all by itself.

well yesterday was really cold here in Miami around 60-65 degrees, i would love to see 8200 rpm, i will install a rear exit exhaust and a x water box today and in a few days a 2 wedge, maybe i will see 8200.
also i had a oil leak and my oil is basically full on the dip stick, ones i lower it to a little less then the middle i should see a little more rpms.

Wow, ive never seen more than 7950 with my 07 rxt. I also have riva air and intake grate. Guess I got a dud. Allways been that way. Supercharger was done too. Hopefully my 2010 x 260 will be better.

i never saw more then 7950 until i replace all together me wear ring air intake to riva and took off the opas, my supercharger was also rebuild in the dealer under warranty 8 hours ago.
