IT'S A NEW BATTERY IN THE SKI.................

i dont think it will stay running. by pulling the battery you are breaking the circut for the electronics. now if you start it and run it on the water for a while then shut it off and after that it will not start do to the battery being dead, then its not charging the battery. usually, if the stator dies, it will keep blowing fuses. two strokes are not like cars where it will keep running because of the altinator. two strokes dont have them.

find a mechanic
troubleshooting bu guessing is going to cost you a whole lot more then just getting adecent shop to give the electrical system a once over.
car techniques should not be applied to any PWC.

maybe he is trying to say his stator is bad?
is not charging the battery, get a volt meter and while turned on on the trailer see if you get a current flow to your battery, if it does not move than the stator could be bad, a volt meter only cost about 16 dollars at autozone,

your not listening to what we are telling you. that gtx is a 2 stroke. your car is a 4 stroke. two totaly different motors. do not think that what will fix your car will fix your jetski also.
do like what ultramax said. get a volt meter and check the voltage on the battery with the ski OFF(should be +12volts). then start the ski and test again. if there is no change or it goes down then you have a problem. if it goes up then you dont have a problem.
