    p-x ski owner

I own an 08 rxp-x with currently 63 hours on it. Have put on a couple of go fast parts like, solas prop, riva cold air intake,r&d intake grate and Riva exit nozzle/with interchangeable rings.I've had it for about a year and a half, So far I haven't had any problems.

At 10 hours my charger had a touchdown because of a chipped cage on the bearing. Seadoo replaced the charger. Sold the ski at 60 hours with no issues. Found out later that at 70 ish hours the new owner had the charger bearings completely explode. This was all with proper break-in and not treating the ski like a rental (although I have no idea how the new owner treated the ski).

The RXP-X is an amazing ski and one of the baddest I have ever owned but I will never own another one (any Seadoo) until Seadoo changes the charger design and how it's breaking affects the rest of the motor.

I have a 215 with 20hrs now modded close to an X and so far it's been problem free, Ill be checking the charger ever 25hr for proper slip as that seems to be the main reason they fail.

are you looking at a Px or Tx??? Tx has a pump tunnel problem that you should read up on if your thinking of a Tx...

My T-X charger let it`s stock washers go at 38 hrs and totally wiped out the motor.

    Completely rebuilt the motor myself.

Jerry rebuilt my charger for me and used the Riva washers.

I have done about 20 hrs since the rebuild, with no problems.

Have just recently pulled the charger and fitted Mc master spring washers, purchased here in the store. Have reset the slip moment after seeking advice from Jerry.

Just waiting for warmer weather, to fire the beast up again.

    Regards
    Alex..
