Never heard anything good on the groovy plate.Try it and let us know what you think.
Theres a Riva long plate on ebay for $100 new in the plastic,a long plate helps.
I just bought a new plate and I have an extra oem long plate if anyone is interested.I payed $35 for it a few months ago.

Found out in searching that most people did not like that plate,i may try it for my own opinion a good lesson learned, search before you jump on something.Mine already has the stock long plate.

the long riva he speaks of is waaaaaayyyyy better than your stock long plate. My old groovy plate makes a decent boat anchor and you dont mind losing it.

Yes you can expect trouble if they have not been fixed already.
If they spin you need to fix them.

I thought about buying it but I need to stay focused on parts I need.
I do have a brand new Pro tec plate I would trade you.
You should like that one I have not tried one but I hear good things about the Riva plate.
