Polaris fuel pump upgrade
I have purchased a 1999 Genesis and 1998 slth
I have read a few post that say the fuel pump should be replace with a triple and double outlet to prevent the fartherest cylinder from running lean. I am wondering if you can tell me if this is a good idea and if so where to get the pumps from and also schematics on running the fuel lines.
I am in the process of replacing the fuel lines and if this needs to be done then now is the time.

The fuel pump recommendation is for the "Fuji" style engines (650-750)
Both of your PWC have the "domestic style " engines with Keihin carbs and don't need the fuel pumps upgraded

Only the blue Fuji 650 and 750 engines didn't have the triple outlet fuel pump. The upgrade part number is actually the 780 engine's stock fuel pump part number
All the red domestic engines have fuel pumps that work just fine.

Make sure the domestic isn't painted BLUE like the fugis are. I just seen one blue.. the domestics have ridges in the head. the fugis have smooth heads on the outside.
