    Gp1300r vs Seadoo XP

I know I'll prob get a biased answer here but what ski would u guys prefer. It will be my first and I like to tear it up, 2 people sometimes, and some top speed runs. Done my research but just want a little "real" feedback. Seadoo xp 's 1999-2002 or gp1300r 03-07

As far as "tearing it up" the XP may be a little better since its smaller and lighter, but it is also carbureted and IMO not as reliable as a EFI craft. Also an XP is not so comfy with 2 adults riding.

The 03+ GPR is fuel injected and much more comfy with 2 adults riding. Also the GPR will have more top speed than the XP. The GPR will require a few more "bullet proof mods" than the XP. (tunnel reinforcement, remove the cat, waveeaters, intake grate, seal the pump shoe)

I would go with the GPR, but I like my Yamahas

    2g Welcome to the Hulk.

I agree with WFO the GPR is much better for speed an 2X riding but you cant beet the XP for the throw around fun factor.

I am a Seadoo guy, but between those 2 I would also take the Yamaha.

Hey thanks for your truly honest opinions. lol. I have the choose right now through local craigslist for 99 seadoo xp $2500, 03 gp1300r $3800, or an 07 with that awesome paint for $4800. what u guys think? Also can't swing both because I have a runabout too as home base. Thinking the 07 as I got enough loot for any of them.
