LOL only 150 hours. They are known to strip on this model. Should be a few for cheaper in the classifieds.

So here is what you have to remember with cog's and gears.

If you have ONE side wear out, you have to replace BOTH sides. More than likely, your driveshaft teeth are very sharp and pointy now. It is eating your I-shaft.

Plus, if you don't grease the insides of the I-shaft, and put in two fresh orings then it will eat out.

Plus, if your engine, in not in alignment to your pump system, it will attempt to eat itself as well.

    Everything must work well together.

actually the drive shaft spline (stainless steel) looks good its just were the o-ring rides on the shaft is worn allowing water to enter the spline and rust out the intermediate spline(steel), I just ordered a new inter.spline and I found another fatter o-rings that fits tighter, motor alignment is good, thanks

What size are the o-rings? this sounds like a good upgrade to eliminate the water intrusion issue. I always grease the heck out of my shaft splines when I install, but I have one that always comes out rusty, and I know I am going to have to replace the I-shaft eventually.

Ted Thompson has a bunch of brand new ones laying around. Look in the conversion section under FAQ section, and give him a call. He can probably get you a heck of a price, brandy new.

Of course if your driveshaft teeth are shark-tooth, and not cog-shaped, then it will be happening again...soon.
