R&D X grate doesnt mate to pump shoe?
I went to install the R&D grate on my ski and found that it doesnt mate up to the pump shoe right. I compared it to the Riva and stock and it is about 3/8 shorter. I attached a pic so you can see what I am talking about. It is for an RXT-X. Is this normal?

I know my Riva on my TX seems to mate up better than the R&D on my PX.

with my r&d for my px i had to elongate the front-most hole so it would line up. that groove they have prevents you from any forward/backward movement i guess but it also prevented it from lining up correctly as well. seemed weird to have to do that to a brand new grate but it works and haven't had any problems with it for what its worth

Does anyone else have a RXT-X or RXP-X with R&D grate? Do you have a gap between the top of the ramp on the grate and the pump shoe?

gus, I have seen that posted before here I believe and they had to mod it as well. my worx mounts up perfect as a side note.

Looking back at the pics....I at first thougth the holes wouldn't line up...but they do...so...the relief was cut on purpose.....designed that way. If the front seats well...and the rear holes line up...that relief will hold some black permatex.
I've flushed out any gaps between my riva and my tunnel/shoe....going on 6-7months...no problems.
