John if you are going to us Tommy Jordans mod on stock system you do not need to take this hose off. If you are installing the FF system you will have to remove and cut the hose and reinstall. Bob

Im from Lillington. Nah i decided not to do the "tommyJordan" way lol....nothin bad about it i just want thru hull exhaust i like the exhaust to be loud. I see where in the pic above i take tht pipe out and they will give me a peice to screw in to tht location to block off it. Then i will have to make a hole in the back of the ski. My friend tht works with me has done this mod to his ski "thru hull exhaust" and he has also took his waterbox OUT and just put pipe there....and man it sounds like a screamin bitch lol. He said he can tell he has more mid range but i think he just HEARS performance ...but who knows...... I wouldnt suggest doin it unless u ride flat water like Jerry.

... And have no neighbors... Sometimes I think my free flow is too loud for the "rest" of the lake.
