    96 xp replacement starter?

    hey all.i have an 96 xp. last season i had issues starting the ski in the water.talked to a tech friend,he said the amp draw was dropping my voltage resulting in a no spark condition.i have purchased an odyssey battery. i'm also going to replace the wires for the starter circuit. i need a lead on a quality replacement starter.

    did you purchase this starter for a 96 xp?i'm not sure of the teeth on my starter.

    Usually the brushes are the problem. $42 bucks from seadoo.

    Steach had a 96 XP previously. He's good people, if you want a new starter, you can't go wrong here.

    I have always bought oems from the dealer and never had issues.

    -seams you cant give 787 parts away these days. $750 for an engine and $125 for a motor?
