best way to blow $4000?
I have been searching around on this forum as well as a few others for a few weeks now but I still have some unanswered questions I am hoping to figure out. I have a 06í RXP, which I have been toying around with the idea of racing, or at least modifying it to increase performance and top end speed. Up until a few days ago I was just about ready to order a RIVA stage II kit and go from there, but now I am under the impression that their may be a few better alternatives for the same $, like PPG, or mixing and matching the best parts from a few different places to gain the best performance. I LOVE the idea of buying a complete kit and installing it, but is that my best option? I would still like to have a reliable seadoo (If there is such a thing), as I donít want to have something so extreme I am pulling the motor out every season to have it rebuilt. And as far as money, I am looking to spend in the ballpark of 2000-4000$, depending on what I can do for the most bang for my buck.
PS feel free to kill me if this question is asked every other week and I have yet to find it under a search.
Thanks for reading this long post!

Rusty, if i was setting up another ski and had $4000 to spend this is how i would do it:
- Home made 4" air intake direct connected to Riva high flow hood for RXP
- Riva Intercooler
- Race Engineering Pro Block Off's
- Thru hull exhaust kit
- Riva Grate
- Riva sponsons or Jet Wings sponsons if you really want to drop some $$$. The Jet Wings are amazing to say the least.
- Solas 15/20 and send it to me for my "magic touch"
- Rotax Racing SC impeller or wait for the Riva stage 3 SC housing and impeller to be released (later this month)
- Rotax Racing ECU
- Rotax Racing 42# injectors
- Rotax Racing lightweight valve spring retainers with shims or wait for Rivas titanium retainers/spring package to be released (later this month)
- Riva tool to install retainers without the need to remove the head
- Oil catch can
- Metal supercharger washers
I have tested many combinations and the above mentioned will yield the best results and maintain reliability. Okay so i went over the budget a little, but i always do
I sell all of the above thru my online store and offer a discount on the Riva items. I don't carry the Jet Wings sponsons, but they can be purchased from www.jetwings.com.
Welcome to the forum!
