    new ski

    ok i finally got a 1200
it has a free flow, powerplenum filter, a plate, grate and concord 13/19, modded carbs, pre mix, riva reed stuffers, primer kit with chokes removed. im getting the head milled, and he gave me a 14/20 concord but i dont know if i have the rpms to run it. and it runs about 69 on gps with 203 hrs on the top end. so im gonna put in a new top end and try it this summer.

now the question is how hi do i need my rpms to run this prop?

Sure you can rebuild the top end. 203 hours is alot of hours on that motor and if your gonna do a rebuild you might as well get the crank sent out as well. What are you goals?

I agree replace the crank also, you are on borrowed time..... 69MPH on a stock 1200 is darn good.
