Thread: Rideplate truing

Hi, i'm in the process of modding my stock plate and was wondering if there was any benefit in truing it, there is quite a hook in it and it is the 2 side that is worst cause the hook is right at the end so IMO it should act as a trim tab.
If someone who have done this mod could help me it would be apreciated

anything you can do to make the bottom of a hull flow better is good, less water drag the better off you will be

i use to have a gp1300 and on those model i know it was helping alot but on the ultra 260 i was not sure if it help due to the hull already dragging alot. Is there a noticable gain in mph? or it's no enough to talk about it

are you meaning the hull or the plate you want to true
The plate can have defects from factory, I milled mine flat & adjusted the centre gull some what, and raised it , and also added some more angle at the rear.
but the HULL has a hook for a reason
Its all in the SEARCH button

It's the rideplate, i already gave it more pitch but it as about 1mm when i put a strait edge on it on the side and about half of a mm on the center. what do you mean by adjusting the center gull?
