Did the Les Cooke ECU cause two skiis to blow up on the weekend?

Does anyone know any of the details about the two skiis that were tuned by Les Cooke on the South Island of New Zealand recently.

I was told that two skiis suffered really bad engine damage, and that they were ruinning WAY to lean.

I heard that Brad Clarke was involved in some way, but dont know the details.

    Has anyone else had issues?

Wow. This is the topic of your first post on GH?

I use a Les Cooke ecu with moderate success.

    thanks

thanks for the welcome guys, I have owned Seadoos for the last 10 years, but read a lot more than I post

Can someone move this from European race series section into the performance and mods section, I dont know if it was moved in here or I posted in the wrong place

I dont think I am going to find the answers if the thread has nothing to do with Eurpope.

Last time I looked on a map, New Zealand was a long way from Europe

if Les is not persolnally working on your boat , it is your responsibillity to check the AFR. a ECU will never blow up a motor ! (it is the wrong setup with that ECU), I know many guys trying to run the 9100 RPM ECU with the old 50 lb Injectors that are still around from the old RIVA ECU they where using. If you tell Les you want a high boost mapping , the fuel table is not lean at all !, but you also have to run 60 lb Injectors RRFPR and bigger fuel pump !, if you forget 1 of that parts, it is the ski owner that blows up the motor no one else!, and the boats Les is working on personally are not running lean , that is a 100%
