PIC of My new TDR 3in Exhaust.

Here is a picture of what Tony sent me. He gave me a deal since it is the first unit out and gave everything in the pic to me for $300 shipped.

The TIP is hand created on a lathe. He mentioned that the production units will be billet and that the Kit will retail for around $400 with everything pictured.

The major difference is this one is 3in from the waterbox to exit. Tony mentioned it will flow a bit better.

Im stoked about hearing it fire up!

Tony mentioned I need a roto zip router tool to aid with cutting the 3in Hole. Any Tips on getting the hole drilled effectively are welcomed.

    .

i drill the big hole first with a hole saw and then put the tip in and drill the other 4 mounting holes so that they are spot on.

I put heavy duty duct tape on hull where drilling hole.
Dont get carried away with hole saw. I drill it tight and go back with dremel and clean it up.
You want it to be tight.
Drilling the bolt holes or atleast taping where they go, with tip in hull, helps with alignment and angle to hull, like Erik stated.

    THat box is sweet.
That is the way it should be built IMO for 08 mid pipe.
The only thing that could be better is mandrel flow tube from box to exit.
THe Exit is just like GH/TDR box on j pipe setup with 3 inch..
It will be interesting to see a back to back test with this type box and riva box with 08 + mid pipe.
It looks shorter then the Riva but hard to tell.
