Dedicated "Ethanol Free" choice at the pump

They just redid a Marlin Gas station in Islamorada two weeks ago. Stopped in to get gas tonight. Anyway, they have a dedicated ethanol free selection at the pump. Sh!t is pricey too!! It's on land, not on the water. First one I have seen with an ethanol free selection.

And only 90 octane. That's not good for modified ski's. ..

Kinda wack... but interesting. It has a lower octane rating... but I bet it's the same performance wise as the 93 ethanol...

I wonder if the trend will continue to other gas stations across the US...

I thought ethanol was going to save the day... while wasting farmland...

Yes, but I think there has been some research done on ethanol not being burned as efficiently... So the reg 90 I see it being closer to the 93.

I also was told there is no true 89, it's a blend between 87 and 93 at the pump.

Look a little closer at the tank drops at your local gas station!

It's more pure than the 93 as well... hence the name "ethanol free"
