I don't think it matters what size you are. It hurts either way. I wonder if you big guys do more damage simply because you have more mass hitting the water at the same speed?

If mass meant something, Shibby would skip like a rock for miles across the water. LOL

of course mass makes a difference. Let me throw a marble at you and then a baseball. You tell me which hurts more.

True, but did the marble and baseball feel the inpact the same (pretend they have feelings)? That is the question; of course the water will hurt (again pretend the water has feelings) if his gargantuan ass hits it, but will measly laugh when my dainty ass goes skipping across.
I think everyone should go off once, gives you new respect for the power we have under us.

Hope you're feeling better.

it happens to most of us. I got thrown so far that the ski looked like a little bath tub toy! I was only going about 45 when I fell.

First time out on my ski I went about 55 and turned hard left. The ski had the sponsons in the lowest position, so she turned like she was on rails, but I couldn't hang on.
All I saw was sky, water, sky, water, sky, water, then I saw the green light as I swam to the surface. I can do it no problem without getting tossed, now that I know what to expect.
My buddy gets tossed almost everytime he rides my ski. It's good for a few laughs.
