SeaWorld Whale Trainer Broke The Rules?
Living in Central Florida, I have seen this whale many times.
A real tragedy, could have been avoided...
New reports that she had been growing her hair long for some charity...? It's strange how the decisions we make can have an impact later...
her former trainer Thad Lacinek is now speaking out; see here:
Is guess this is what happens when we treat predators like goldfish?
They need to get back to wearing mandatory spare air around these killers, (three deaths related to this whale now) they are also reporting trainers have the option to use the spare air in the shows but apparently they choose not to do so.

My cousin is a dolphin trainer and the princess in the dolphin show and has also worked with the whales and looks alot like the trainer that was killed. When I saw the headline pic I about crapped as I thought it was my cousin BJ until I saw the name. The stuff they do with those animals is amazing but things like this are bound to happen eventualy. When I went to see my cousin perform for the first time I was amazed to see her skiing on the backs of dolphins and being thrown 30 ft in the air by them. It takes alot of talent and courage to do what they do and they all know the risks going into it. She died doing what she loved. RIP

which means they have rules in place to prevent trainers from going in the water with him. She laid down by the whale on the bottom step at water level and he grabbed her pony tail and pulled her in the water...
I was told this week by a former employee of the park that the old guy who started their program had strict rules about not allowing long hair on the trainers; he also told me that the women trainers were not allowed to be anywhere close to the orcas when they had their menstrual period... because of their highly sensitive sense of smell, those beasts could pick up the scent of blood from 100 yards in the air, and it would make them very excitable.
Tilly is a known bad azz, now linked to three human deaths.
He is also worth millions...

yea he is linked to 3 deaths... but everyone seems to forget to mention that one guy jumped the fence and jumped in the tank with it at 3am in the morning... yea... like he ever had a chance. Still 2 I know...but don't make it worse than it sounds. Not trying to start an argument...just saying that to the news media in general.
