    Touchdown, where to start...HELP!!

hoping I never had to ask for help but here it goes...WOT...ski stopped dead, CLICK CLICK...got towed back to the ramp...Pulled S/C to find the bearing looks to have collapsed blade touched down there is Metal and residue all the way up the S/C Outlet to the Intercooler but nothing on the Outlet side at all...Only 1 ball left in the case....this is a X charger...second one has bout 40hrs...Not to worried about the charger Its toast....where have the bearings gone and is it possibly to turn motor over with no charger...obviously the S/C turns once I got it out of the ski but ski wouldn't turn over, would this be cause of the S/C or are the bearings stuck somewhere ...

    What do I do now?

    Thankyou In advance

The engine wouldn't turn over because the SC was locked up.

Hold a rag over the SC hole in the PTO housing to keep oil from squirting out and start the engine. It should start just fine

If you are lucky the ball bearings are all inside the supercharger cavity but more than likely you have some fragments in the engine.

Dude im afraid the motor will most likely have to be stripped down.

I would say the ball bearings are between the gears preventing it from turning over.

Hopefully the damage is not too bad.

so they wouldn't fall back out towards the gear...they head out towards the Impeller? will have to pull it apart....

    thanks

Many times i find them in the SC housing between the front/rear bearing.

Sometimes i can see the aluminum pushed out around the rear bearing from the ball bearings escaping. These go into the engine. You have to assume that some fragments dropped in the engine as well as pieces of the bearing cage.
