Improving SHO exhaust flow--post your mods

I've been researching old posts on different exhaust mods as it seems like this is an area that the Wise Ones know about but it's not talked about openly on the forum.

I'm not looking for free flow verses through hull posts as this has been covered on many other threads.

I'm hoping that you guys that have modified your exhaust system will post specifically what you did. TDR boxes look great--they have big performance claims and are $210. Modding stock WB's is discussed a lot but what's the best--removing the baffle a little, a lot or completely and possibly reinforcing the outside of the WB for structural reasons (JD1 posted the baffle is structural)? One company even posted a pic of a pipe that replaced the WB completely (I think it was R Rated and R3 posted a pic of his pipe as well). Rip modded his WB and posted improved throttle response. And what about mods to the exhaust manifold (Rush.)?

Anyhow, it's my goal to get a modern thread with posts on what's been done and how it's worked.

I guess the stock looks pretty much the same when gutted then? lol do you completely remove the baffle/walls or just drill holes through them?

I removed them so there is an open passageway through but some piping is used to "direct" the exhaust

there is only 1 baffle inside the water box, its thick and the main supporter of the box. To cut the entire wall out is hard todo and if done I would thicken up the back wall of the box or else you will blow a hole in it

I would say back pressure wave changes (as in none) and it would be loud as shyte.
I fired my ski up this weekend with no water box with the garage door closed and I needed aspirin after that.

We tried it. Actually lost 50rpm and it was crazy loud.
