    Yamaha GP1200r

Hi im am trying to find a new engine for my pwc. its a yamaha Gp1200r from 2000. But does a 1300r fit directly in the electric that i have from my 1200r engine??? I might have an 1300r engine from 07 on my hand would it fit on my pwc?
If anybody have carburator and intake manifold for an 1300r engine i would be interrested.

Hoping to get some answer on my question

    Thanks

all the 1300 were fuel injected so you need the fuel injection and the electronics to swap the motor over also the 2004 and 2003 1300 had a pv topend like yours so you could use the topend from a 2004 or 2003 1300 but the 2007 1300 you talk about was non powervalve motor so you need the fuel injection and electronics to swap it. pm 305coco he has what you need

putting in a 1300 engine would give you a bump in performance and it should be an easy switch. I can't tell you the specifics b/c I'm not knowledgable like most here, but do a search for '1200 to 1300' or something similar.

It seems like you can put in a 1300 engine and just rejet your carbs. Would that be all he needs to do?
