Yamaha FZR takes 2nd at the MH300

The title says everything. Mike Follmer and Tony Beck were the pilots. Also Ruiz was running in first at a record pace. He was able to lap the entire field (10 mile laps) until he had problems with water in his fuel. Macc broke down on his Super Stock Yamaha SHO.

Craig Warner and Victor Sheldon won.

I dont think he lapped the entire field but he was close. That thing was lights out. ON the first lap you could see him across the lake just leaving the field behind him.

I have some vids of Rius and the huge lead he had on the entire field before his boat was refueled with bad fuel........
there were gallons of water in it......foul play is actually suspected.....I was with the Rius team as they changed spark plugs, coil packs, etc....until they pumped fuel out into a clear bottle and it was 7/8th's water and 1/8 fuel......everyone helping w/ his ski was in shock

He was NOT 10 miles ahead of the pack. HE DID have a BIG lead tho! I have the lap times, as well.
    Ruiz fastest lap was 8:16.445
    however....
    Warner fastest time was 8:14.539

So...I guess Warner had the faster ski. Maybe he was saving it or something.

    Follmer fastest time was 8:28.227

I will say this tho. That boat was MOVING! I only got to see it for a few laps as it went out of the race too quick. Warners Kawi also was very fast. Hookup is sick with the Kawi. Killer race for sure, thats where folks can prove a lot! Thats 2 years in a row Kawi claims the top spot in the WORLDS LONGEST ENDURANCE RACE.
