    Drive shaft coupler interchange

    Are all of the Polaris Drive shaft couplers interchangable?
    I have a 95 SL750 and 2 pro 785's
    do they use the same driveshaft coupler?
    does one from a 650/780 fit the 750 and the 785?
    I found a couple of the rebuildable ones locally and wasen't sure,

    Rebuildable ones?

    Are you asking about the PTO coupler that screws onto the engine output shaft, or the through-hull bearing that the drive shaft runs through into the pump tunnel?

    Sorry,
    The thru hull bearing that the shaft goes thru,
    I see you have a picture of the non rebuildable one and the aluminum one that you can unscrew the ends on and put in new seals,

    Through-hull bearings, for non-MSX hulls.

    Have a look here, and at this;

    Keeping your Polaris PWC on the water

    Replacing the seals and bushing in the through-hull assembly

    There are different versions of the through-hull bearing
    Early units with crimped ends can not be repaired, but they can be directly replaced with the newer style assembly (1996-2004, except MSX)
    Click here for a list of parts sources

    The seals tend to wear more than the brass bushing, so you may not need to change the bushing, unless it is worn.
    Replacement seals can be purchased from any Polaris OEM parts source, or generic seals may be installed.
