Have to admit its a pretty cool feature. Never had it before but was on a customers boat I have right now. Did a rebuild and wanted to put some time on it before giving back. Completely entertained and learned a lot about my river.

Duke, in our "black water" it's the only way to go...you never know when it's too shallow.

+1 I love the depth finder. Not much good @ 80+ but great for exploring.

I have an after market Hawkeye and it quits around 70. And yes buy the time it beeps its to late your blowing mud

I have one of these as well its a great unit for the price, just mount the sender in the same spot the factory unit would have been and it seems to read very well.
