Question Anyone ever used Seafoam on their RXP or other 4tec powered ski?

Was wondering where the vacuum line is that you poured it into? Notice any better throttle response or performance afterwards? My RXP has just over 100hours on it so I figured this would be a good time to seafoam it.

That's for cleaning the injectors. It's a 3 step process. Injector cleaning, oil cleaning, and top end motor cleaning. Vacuum line would be for the top end cleaning. I already know what to do for injectors and oil.

I have not used it either for top end cleaning. I just pour a can in the tank. But boy has the price per can of seafoam gone through the roof. Use to be 6.99 now it is 9.99 here in FLA.

When I put it in my truck I just slowly meter it straight into the throttle body. the key here is SLOWLY. you should be able to do that with the 4-tec as well, though I haven't tried it yet. Don't see why it would be a problem.

I have used Seafoam to make sure the fuel is stabilized before filling it up. Never in the intake system. If it is that dirty, take off the TB and have it cleaned properly. That way you KNOW for sure it is clean. As to the injectors, I either will have them removed and sent out for PROFESSIONAL cleaning or leave them alone. I don't use snake oil.

Throttle body huh? Maybe I'll give that a go and see how it does.

Is there anything for the seafoam to do on your engine?

Is there any carbon build-up in the head or valves?

Are the injectors not flowing properly?

Any loss of power or RPM that you expect to be restored?

Motor has over 100hours on it, so I'm sure there is some carbon buildup in there. Look at it this way, it can't hurt. Just want it running smoothly and in tip top shape. I know a lot of people seafoam their cars every 20-30K miles
