    The age old question

Looking to purchase an intake grate for my rxp and am having trouble deciding. I have searched numerous threads in order to gain insight, but most threads speak on the x boats. What I have gathered is that th worx grate is the best all around grate followed by the r&d and the riva seems to be last. Again these findings are primarily for the x boats. My question is, which grate is going to provide the best holeshot and least cavitation, as I am interested in increasing accelleration. Also, I looked in the online store and it seems that there is only the riva and r&d grate for the p, am I even able to purchase the worx?
    Thanks in advance

For the rxp id say worx grate for rough water and the riva for smooth water.

I havent heard of any grates failing, but I do know that its the inserts on the pump shoe that are. A girdle is a must for a P.

    riva grate

I'm currently in the process of installing the riva ride plate.when i removed my riva intake grate the middle bolt hole where the grate attaches to the shoe had broken all the way around, away from the grate itself.so now looks like i'm getting a new grate....I guess my question is will the girdle kit work on the 215 open loop ride plate?
