Just My Luck!!!!....What Should I Do...???
I finally get my ski back from truing the hull. When I go pick it up Frazier @ PPG tells me that the throttle body had gotten stuck! He had taken out the elbow hose from the s/c to TB and it had nasty salt deposits! He told me he had to take some schit apart from the TB and lube it until it gave off. What worried me was his " Do you have extended warranty? " question!...Then he said ride the hell out of it! I just dont know why they did not see it a few months ago when they did my s/c washers.
He told me about this kit that the new '06 have to spray the TB and that I should get that soon...?
Im like, I'll get that kit next week, I'll go ride the hell out of it today. I go do that, and the MF is down another 100 rpms! and won't GPS more than 60.2 ! ! ! When before that it was turning 69.5 @ 7900 rpms! Now, the water was a bit choppy BUT I did not expect 60.2 I have gone well over 64 on choppy waters before.
I asked him if I should change the oil a few times, and he said I could do that, at least 2 times.
Im pissed off my mind. I get to the ramp, submerge the traielr too much and phuck up the top gelcoat with the trailer AND the newly finished bottom HULL
Now please! What should I do, can I take out the TB and clean it and see how it look beyond the TB? Can I even take it out in the first place? Or will i have to align it with the BUDS system if I do that? Should I check the stock i/c to see if its clogged...?
Suggestions please. Riding conditions were not too hot. It must have been around 84 air and below 80 deg water.

Change your oil twice? Why?
You can remove and replace your TB without having to reset it on BUDS. Just don't take it apart.

Yeah Psycho about that I did lube it and it's not sticking but it still feels rough kind of like it's grabing when I pull the throttle. Wierd thing is it's only when it's running. On the dock it feels smooth as ever but when running it still feels like it's grabing. It hasn't got stuck though. I've had other things going on so it hasn't been my main concern.....

I lost one bolt....Can I use any SS one like it? Or buy it at the stealership?

Yes, a SS bolt the same length, and pitch would work.

GEO: not to add to your dilemma, but you really should be looking for another shop to work on your ski, or start learning how to do all of the work yourself...PR...
