97 787 crank index
im 2 to 3 degrees out when checking the crank for index is this beound acceptable tolerances

2 to 3 degrees is off pretty good think about 3 degrees more or less on ignition timing also could give you a problem. And thows cranks are not easy to get apart without damaging the bearings or rods. you may hae to replace or rebuild the crank.
The most i have ever run one out was about 1.2 degrees max
