Thanks for the sarcastic post Keddano. For your information I am checking back often since I did just post a help question in the general forum. I do appreciate everyones help I simply posted my email because I can't be on here all the time and my email goes directly to my cell phone and who knows when someone will respond to this classified post. Thanks for your concern though!

I thought Keddano made a good point. if you ask for something,, we will help you, but you have to take the 20 seconds to check back on the site every so often to see if anyone responded to your question.. Thats less time than pouring a cup of coffee.. just check it while your checking your email!..

I dont think sarcastic is the right word to use.. Keddano is way cool and helps everyone here out..along with a bunch of other GH members..
You made it sound like, after we all do the footwork, i'll have my feet up on the desk waiting, call me... just my opinion..

Good luck on that one, they are tough to find. My suggestion would be to get a 12pin to 8 pin adapter and use that with an easier to find 8 pin mfd. They sell for $75-$100 or you can make one! Have you tried fixing your old one?

just get the 8 pin connector from any Polaris and transfer the wires from the 12 pin connector ,the 12 pin only uses 8 wires anyway .
I've done this a bunch of times

I have a Nice 12 pin gauge for 250.00 if you want to go that route

Arrow How to convert a 12-pin MFD wire harness to 8-pin (Deutsch DT06-08SA)

You can also just purchase the Deutsh connector new, and move the wires complete with the pins from the 12 pin to the 8 pin connector.

8-pin MFD receives Deutsch DT06-08SA connector from the wire harness
Note: Deutsch mating Plugs must normally be the same color/key, which is GRAY.
The reason is that the connector keying tabs are matched to the connector body color (A suffix on DT06-08SA part number code is the correct Gray connector to mate with the Polaris MFD)

To remove the wires from the old connector, gently pry the Orange plastic 'locking wedge' straight off from the face of the connector. With the locking wedge removed, use a small flat screwdriver to release the locking tab for each pin, and slide the pin out the back of the connector.

No need to remove the seal on the back of the connector. The pins should slide right through.

Thanks for the help everyone! My old MFD has gotten water in it and shorted out and melted and maybe even frozen and busted its in rough shape. I'll be checking back in more as I get time to dig into this thing and figure stuff out.

Are you looking for stickers that have 1 layer or 2 layers? they make them 2 different ways. the double type are less expensive.
