    New to Forum - My 93 xp project

    I bought a 93 xp and a 96 sl780 last summer and just got around to finally painting the xp after getting ready to put in the new motor.
    LMK what you all think!

    Im looking to buy some UMI or Riva handlebar setups (complete) so if anyone knows where i can find some for this ski Please let me know..Feedback greatly appreciated (Good OR bad)

    welcome to the forum! what do you plan on stuffing in there for a motor? 717? 787? 951?

    I would go with a 718, since you have the 93 657 motor and not the 657x. They had a few issues with the 657 motor.

    I just bought a 657 motor from sbt, i should be painting the hood and the trim and grills and all that this weekend so I will post more pics later when it get put back together

    nice work so far!!! yeah, nice color scheme. I have a 94 xp that looks exactly like what yours did. Its an ox, not the fastest thing in the world, but starts up everytime.

    Looks like you can use any 7/8 handlebar. I moved my stock RX bars forward to give me more room and height. Added a MX pad and put the gauge controls in it. Still waiting on my grips and finger throttle. On my Polaris SL, I didn't have a clamp... the stem and handlebars were one unit. I had my neighbor weld me a bracket to adapt dirtbike bars. Both options were cheap and gave me the room and height I was looking for. Just an idea if you don't have the funds for a umi system.
