VTS not working.
Is the vts only supposed to work when the ski is running? I have it on the trailer without it started and it wont go up or down.

The VTS should work any time the gauges are on. That is, when the key is plugged in (before it times out and shuts off) or the start button is pushed (same on the timeout thing) or the engine is running.

Where are the fuses for this model? My gauges dont do anything when the key is plugged in. VTS wont move at all when key is plugged in.

I believe he has another thread about a '97 XP so I will assume that is what he is working on.
The fuses are on the MPEM (the black box with all the wires coming off it next to the engine-not sure what side of the hull it is on as I have never worked on a '97 and all my experience is with 951 powered XPLs). There is a cover over them. Pull the cover off and you will see the fuses. There is also a fuse in the High Power box (where the spark plug wires come from).
On the MPEM you should find three fuses.
7.5amp-VTS (this is the power for the VTS system)
5amp-MPEM fuse (MPEM power and also gauge power)
The other fuse in the HP box is another 15amp that is also for the charging system.
Does the boat beep when the key is plugged in, turn over, or anything? Does it do anything when you hit the start button with no key on?
