98 gp1200 clogged fuel line, where to start?

last time i used my 98 gp1200 i ran it out of gas and now it only hits 6000rpm, believe its a clogged line where should i start looking? but it revs up fine out of water should i be worried? i dont think anything is blown since it runs mint revs mint, but if i use it the way it is it boggs down and i have to rev it 3-4 times real fast before it will pick up

replace the fuel filter, it's cheap and you can get an exact replacement at your local auto parts store for a couple-o-bucks.

If that doesn't help, replace the lines with new. It shouldn't cost much.

Try blowing them out if you don't want to replace them. The other thing would be to check the fuel pick-up lines in the tank for obstruction.

sure you can do those things. A compression check will cost you nothing if you have the guages. A rebuild kit will set u back three kits. Start with the cheaper stuff before you buy unnecessary parts.

Carb rebuild every couple of years is good insurance.
GP 800 should have power valves make sure there working right.

Mild sieze is piston, rings and a fresh bore or a hone.

Better than full detonation of piston that takes the crank, head other pistons etc as well.

i blew out all the lines, so unless its in the carb its out. there was alot of little black dots floating around in the fuel filter i hope that was the problem. i got the compression tester all 3 cylinders were exactly the same. i guess ill throw some gas in here and try taking her out.
if its the carbs should i just get the 3 kits and 3 jet kits or should i buy the racing carbs that are for sale in the classifieds right now?
