So Who's Got the Most Hours on Their Ultra 250?

With the Spring around the corner was wondering who's got some hours under their belt (or suit)?
The highest I've noticed is maybe 180 hours or so. If used in any rental fleets I'm guessing some good hours there as well.

No Ben has one with 355 hrs. I bought Palmbeachjesse Ultra.

Had the same issue you did. His head ended up being the problem. After some time the Dealer finally is putting a brand new head on it.

    Wow. That's great.

What have been some of the more long term issues? You mentioned the head and the dealer replacing it. Was that done under the extended warranty?

Ya Ben ran his every weekend and all the time, he enjoyed the piss out of it.

He had to fight a long time with them to finally get the situation covered under extended warranty.

    High hour look outs,

    Supercharger
    Jet Pump
    Cracked head. "Water in oil".

skip as you are awhere i'm dealing with that much water in my oil that it turns honey colored new oil after complete strip and assembly to grey in 30mins do you know where the head cracked as i have just sent my 43hr new head off again to be tested third time motor disassembled whats the chance of my new head having an internal flaw as water has been a problem since fitting it.

    380 hours right now.

Took it into the dealer at 360 with no issues other than Gas in OIL. Kawasaki said they would fix the GIO and put in new pistons and rings. so after that i get the ski back and right away starts getting WATER in oil. very quickly. so my mechanic musta messed up my head.

A year later and i have a new head...well basically new everything thanks to Skip. And YES skip, i did throw another 700 for new valves.

they called me saturday and said it was done but they had not water tested it yet. I will probably pick it up tomorrow. maybe try it out sunday.

If all goes well, maybe ill be up to 600 hours before 2011

kawi tech notes say to check between number 2 and 3 for a head crack. so they are aware of this weak point. i have a list of all new parts that skip and kawi replaced. the list is like 100 items long.

    optimistic right now!
