i have a 07 1300 engine in my 02 hull, i just tie wraped the steering sensor to one of the gas tank straps in the front
i was told that it must be hooked up or the ski wont start

I have a 07 in a 02 hull also. I was able to start the engine without the sensor but I had the check engine light so I hooked one sensor and straped it to the oil tank hose. Running good since.
