Oil light and buzzer on FZR....?
I don't have the manual on a trip I am currently on, and limited access to internet/Greenhulk here in the middle of the desert in Mexico....
I changed out the oil just prior to the ride due to precautionary GIO issues and we were doing some pretty hard runs CC runs around a very small island, maybe 70 ft by 70 ft. Then went straight into a long straight WOT run....then the buzzer and oil indicator went on. I turned the engine off, sat there for a couple of minutes, started it up and all was fine after that.
Oil level is a hair above midline, so that looks okay. Yes, the cap is on and the dipstick is in.
My question is...
When the buzzer/light comes on notifying you that there is an oil "issue", what does this mean? Low on oil? overheated oil? Pressure?

It may be that with the oil being just a tad low on the dip stick and you were doing a lot of agressive turning constantly the oil level sensor became un covered long enough for the sensor to signal a low fluid level. I would set the oil lever to full on the dip stick and see what happens if it goes off again. Tommy Jordan

Thank you Tommy.
I was hoping for something like that.
