    97 GP 1200 no start

got my engine all hooked up today after the rebuild, pulled the blue connector loose from under the display to reset the code as stated in the manual,it now reads start but goes blank every time after it reads start,i do not know if this is normal but fully charged battery and no start ,starter will not even click, the display will not stay on after code is entered,is this normal for the display?

Bypass the Dash and jump the brown/red connector with some heavy gauge wire and see if it turns over. The black/white combo wire is the kill switch but, won't impact turnover...just if there is spark. If you find that the ski turns over when you jump these, you could have a bad dash preventing the ski from starting.

    Lightbulb ???

    What Mike said...

Also first thing to check is the glass fuse in the holder inside the electrical box..
