    Rotax racing ecu info

    Hi:
I got a Rotax Racing ecu with the following in the label:

    Name: Racing Only
    Dataset: #H3J66R2A
    Project: 1503 SCIC
    Date: 14.09.208
    Remark: WITHOUT MY2005
    KNOCK-CONTROL

I need to know the injector size, rpm limit , boost capability.

Is there a way to reset it for instalation in other boat.

    Thanks a lot.
    Joe

    Rich,

    Correct!

    Joe,

If you call Rotax Racing and give then the information/serial number. They can get your information you requested of that ECU.

For this ECU you have to run with 42Lb injectors.

that ECU is a 2004/2005 RACING ECU with 8500 RPM limiter

    - 42 lb INjectors ( green RXP-X )
    - you need external IC
    - boost up to stock X-charger
    - runs also great with a S3 RIVA, or ROTAX RACING Spacer SC Impeller
    - if your idle is OK, you dont need a reset

    Hi:

Thanks a lot to all of you for your time and info.

I've tried this ECU with 50lbs injectors and rude sc (aprox 13lbs of boost) and it accelerate very hard but the idle was very poor .

    Thanks again,
    Joe

With that ECU an that charger I'd either go with 42's and a rrfpr to retain the proper AFR and still have a good idle. Or you should be able to get away with 46/48's # injectors with that ECU and still have a decent idle, and retain the proper AFR up top.
