    What a blister.

The water was a little hotter than I thought. Went to loosen the radiator cap and the pressure blew it off. This is what I got in return.

Believe it or not but it didn't hurt. When it happened I was like "Oh it got me" but it didn't hurt so I was more worried about my face which got a little bit of the spray and was stinging (I did have sun glasses on). When I looked down at my hand the top layer of skin had already separated and was baggy. Face, which hurt worse, was fine. It felt like I had been in the sun too long.

I had been contemplating draining it this afternoon since it was so huge. But decided to give it another day or two. Well got in the shower this evening without a bandage and I guess the hot water loosened everything up and when I got out of the shower you could see that everywhere there was a hair folicle it was draining. Took about 20 minutes and I had all the fluid out of it. That was good because now no air is hitting the under layer of skin and the top layer is intact. I have it bandaged and am using the New Skin pads to keep it moist and sterile.

I'll take a pic when I remove the bandage in the morning. Will keep this updated as I find it interesting if it heals well. I have had cycle pipe burns before and last year I had a big one on my calf that got infected because I didn't care for it.
