SC Belt Discolor - Silver/ grey?

    2007 250X - 106 hours

SC Belt looks 'silver/ grey' in color...?
    Belt should be 'black' right...?
When I touch the belt with my finger a grey powder is left on my finger...

    Overall performance is fine...
    Time to replace?

Happens to me too. High hour belts tend to rub the tensioner harder. Maybe some of the smooth rubber is wearing off making the backing more abrassive.
