    Turbo vs Non Turbo

I have a 2006 Honda 3 seater non-turbo with only 10 hours. My buddy working at honda offered me a 2007 3 seater Turbo honda 0 hours brand new with 2 year warranty for mine and 2500.00 out the door. I have no issues with mine but speed is everything, so the question is how much more performance will I get out of the 07 vs mine, and is it worth the $$$

    Thanks

I heard of one dealer that might be able to unload some 07 F-12x's for like 6g's, so if you think about that... is it worth that to loose money on your ski? If you want to go fast, I say use the money and buy a used GPR! The turbo will def give you more power and is plenty reliable... I've got a R-12x and love it.

The turbo is a little faster and more hp. The turbo usually goes for about a grand more than the no turbo. I have the turbo but I have been told the non turbo has a little more punch out of the hole. What you pay is your bizz but try offering 1500 and trade. see what he thinks.

Not sure what they are worth but i just purchased 2- 04' turbo's with a custom trailer. The owners bought them both new last year out of the crates from a dealer in Lousianna. They both have about twenty hours on them and are spotless. I paid $7000.00 for both. May have been too much or may have been a deal...either way Im happy. And by the way, I also saw the ads for 07's new at a dealer for about the same money.

That was a very good deal! You must be really smiling...

The turbos have some lag but are faster from 30'-50' and are about 5 MPH faster. They also have about 1K better resale value.
The non turbos are much better for surf jumping.

Thanks. It took a few weeks of searching and a few hundred mile drive but it worked out. Now just ready to ride!
