    HELP! triton trailer bearing

Im new to this section of the forum just want to say HELLO and looking for some advice.....

i have a triton aluminum trailer and the bearing went on it.. so i went and got a standard bearing kit from our store... the bearing went in fine but it seems like the rear grease cap is way to small... it fits in the hub but the inner diamiter is too small and dosnt fit when i slide it on the "shaft" (sorry for my ignorance and improper wording! )

the store said it was the only size they had available but if i calibrated the size of the shaft they could have something made for me.... this doesnt sound right.. its a triton trailer... there should be some where i can buy a bearing kit for it???

one more of the joys of living in the cayman islands lol... CRAP hardeware stores!!!! lol

    thanks for all the help!

What is the brand and model of the axle on the Triton trailer?

Call Triton and they can tell you what bearing size you have?

There should be a VIN plate/sticker on the side of the tongue. Write down the model code, and the full VIN number, and the weight/load rating codes and numbers.

Then go look at the axle itself. There should be a plate or sticker right on the axle with the manufacturer's name and model code for the axle.

Triton Trailers phone number is 262-670-6514

If Triton cannot help you (and I don't see why not), you can call the axle company directly.
