Spark plug wire pulled loss from boot

When I installed the seat on my ski the vent tube must have caught the #1 spark plug wire and pulled it out of the boot. I looked and the parts breakd0wn and saw that the boot and the coil and wire are two seperate parts. Can I reinstall the boot and re ty-wrap?

yes, cut back the plug wire just a bit too get a little of the copper showing..just a little bit though.. then install the boot and zip tie it good.. make sure the wire is connected too the metal piece in the boot or you will not have spark

Yes. Clip about 1/4" off the wire.

Screw the boot back onto the wire and re ziptie. That's it.
