    sponcen ? for 99 gp1200

    found a set of beach house sponcens for sale that came off a 97 gp1200.will thay fit a 99?it say sits 97/98 and another says 97/99.is beach house a good brand?thanks

    Yes.. they will fit..!!

    BUT, they ain't easy to fit..
    Most everything in the rear of the ski needs taken out to fit these sponsons

    This i know..... (see picture.. )

    Do they work good..???
    YES.! they are night and day with the original Yamaha one's

    why the hell do all that work...i had a 98 and i put riva sponcens on and all it was to do is unbolt old sponcen and install new backing plate and sponcen.no drilling and cutting foam and removing waterbox crap..but thay r cheep..guys askin 80 dollars and thay r brand new still in bag..thay sell new 4 200.00

    Worx sponsons are alot easier to fit. However they are expensive.

    Why make it so difficult indeed..????

    Mine were a little bit simpler to fit since the hull was completely bare..!! (picture..)
    I could still have used a Chinese acrobat to hang upside down in the hull..!!!

    $80 is probably a fair price..?? though $50 would sound better..??

    There have been tons of Beach house sponsons sold lately I would have had a set if I didnt get distracted I thought I had found a ADA head and missed the auction's end.
    Early Beach house you need to drill later ones you didnt I have the early ones on my 97

    I think that was the ebay set that went for $26 and shipping.I missed out on that auction I was going to bid.
