Big Pig's Data Logging Corrupted, HELP?

    Hi Pete and Gang,
I have just downloaded my logged data from the M400 and it looks corrupted. I haven't used the logging for some time so I'm wondering what may have gone wrong? EI settings, hardware, etc.
I was wondering if anyone can have a look and make some suggestions.
    Thanks all,
    Dean

    Hi Dean
I m doing this from the dyno so dont have time to study it but the first thing to do is download release software from our website and then upgrade the ECU with that.
When you upgrade the ECU make sure you disconnect the coils
Let me know how you get on.

    Cheers

    Pete

The time looks compressed or just too many samples/sec.?
Click the Horizontal Zoom In a few times and everything starts looking more normal. Sort of...

    Is the ski running OK?????
I would take Pete's suggetion and make sure you have all the latest software. Clear the logging memory out and try again.

Yep the ski runs fine.....thank goodness. Couldn't afford another little hiccup

I have found the issue...........thanks heaps gang.

This issue was I was running a very early version of the ecu manager. I downloaded and installed the lastest from the motec website http://www.motec.com/filedownload.ph...exe?docid=3409 and did a quick test on the trailer. Here it is.

Next week I'll try and get in another water test and start looking at what is going on.

    Edit: I love this site

    Good to hear Dean
For the record we had a very early beta version of software that got out with an issue in the logging set up.
It was when we got the GPS channels put in, this task was much harder than most people realise as the modern gps uses very large numbers, we had to split each number up into 2 parts and then reassemple in i2.
Boring details I know but some maybe interested.

    Cheers

    Ummmmmm.................

    That "may" have been it.

Version 3.5.1.4 Firmware (3.51D) Not for release.

It was been used for the intial setup on the C5 supercharger way back in 2009.

You really know your stuff Pete. I'll go back and hide in my cave and stop embrassing the good name of motec.

    Thanks again Pete.
