    Riva 2' wedge

I know it's been debated many times weather the wedge increasing top end or not. The wedge is supposed to get the nose up but can do the same with my trim. How can it add speed if I can already trim the nose up to much? Does it add speed because it adds a little length in the pump area?

Dont know how, but it did add speed on mine. Before wedge best speed was 2 above neutral. After wedge best speed is all the way up.

Your trim only affects the angle of the steering nozzle. The wedge goes between the venturi nozzle and pump, so it trims up your venturi nozzle too. If you trim up too much you lose speed. The wedge helps you trim up more without losing efficiency. This is where the gains come from.

I think it helps more on 3 seaters. I did a back to back test last summer on my RXP and didn't lose or gain speed with/without the wedge. Did multiple runs with and without the wedge and all were within 1 or 2 tenths of a mph.

Trim diverts the water flow robbing you of thrust. The wedge changes the entire angle of the pump assembly.
