Ultra LX Hull stability With holes

I want to add two more speakers to my audio system and want to throw them in the back sort of like a "surround soundish" setup,

What i wanted to know is if I drill a four inch hole on both sides of the ski closer to the back is that going to ruin the hull stability? Will i start to crack if i were to jump waves for instance?

I would like to get some feedback on this before I start drilling.

The red circle in the picture is aproximatly where I would like to drill the holes.

    Thanks!

I would be worried about heat from the engine. I don't know about the LX but you are getting close to the exhaust area and the heat may fry your speakers.

It is SMC on top deck.

Since it looks like your biulding a party barg then I wouldnt be too worried about it.

Unless your installing speakers to rock out during your races?

Hey now, I'm sure if you used a small stainless ring as a backing plate and a thin one as a base, this should mitigate and structural issues.
