    Aftermarket Parts?

I need some ideas on where to get or look for after market parts to rebuild 2 domestic 700s. Does anybody know where I can find or look for aftermarket parts? I want to put in performance top end, billet heads...etc. Thanks for any help.

do a search.. there is not a one store you can go too, john zigler has oem stuff and can order polaris things.. idk about after market stuff.. babbitsonline.come has polaris oem stuff also check denniskurk.com

what kind of skis do you have?

the best upgrade for the money/power would be a engine swap depending on the ski..

if you wanted too stay with the twin cylinder 700,s you could build it too a 800 (777) motor.. with a jug swap and i think electical..some one that knows a little more can chime in on that..

but if you dont want too go big bore tripple's thats the way too go imo

I'd suggest you contact Jay at Sharp's Marine or Randy at Watcon.com. They can help you I'm sure.

You can get pistons and what not from ebay for a reasonable price. After market stuff is rare, so you have to watch for awhile and see if something comes up.. your going to be hard pressed to get new aftermarket stuff. If you wanted to upgrade to more power real bad, I'd get a 1050 engine and switch it over.. its not going to be cheap tho.

Thanks that gives me a better idea of where to start. The two skis that I have are 96 sl700 and a 2001 virage.

I havnt really decided if I want to stay with the twin cylinders or go with the 1050. Is there enough room in my sl700 for the 1050?

well in 96 they had the 900 in the sl body and thats the same motor mounts as a 1050.. it will fit.. but i dont know if the motor mounts will work.. or iff you will have too make them work
