2001 sea doo rx
my friend bought a 01 rx. i am going to help get it going again. he was told that the second cylinder's rod was broke or loose. i looked at it this morning. it turns over good by hand. i will be taking it apart when it gets warmer. what do i need to look for and where is a good place to get parts? and a cover?

If it is broken it will not be hard to tell when you get the cylinder off.
Ebay for the cover.
Read the sticky on fuel systems and do a search on 951 pipe installation (that one should have the O-ring manifold so it is a bit less complicated) and get new pipe mount bushings.
Go with OE pistons if you can, IMO. They only go to .25mm over so you will have to see what it will need.

I am not sure you could break a rod on one and there not be visible damage on the outside (they tend to turn into buzzsaws, you see).
Do not worry about anything anyone said if they have not taken it apart. Get the cylinder off, shoot some pics to post up here and proceed accordingly.
