Cobra jet steering
Hearing good things about the fins! Read the testimonials. Will keep your RXP planted through high speed turns, without scrubbing any top speed. More functional than they appear. Going to give it a try. Will post results ltr.

For those fins to work, they have to be in the water. When in the water they will scrub off speed due to the extra drag. If they are not in the water they will have no effect on steering the ski. They would probably work best in low speed off throttle conditions.

Search PWCTODAY.COM for threads about those "fins". It gets pretty funny.

Actually, from what Jeff at Cobra told me, the fins do NOT extend below the rideplate. They grab on low speed maneuvers and during turns. Otherwise, they do not drag. In fact, he claimed that they help with the holeshot as well. The "cupped" design of the fins actually catch the water that flows under the rideplate during hard acceleration - something to do with planing the ski off more quickly. We'll see.
